African is a sub-category of: Ethnic and nationality minorities

This report provides information from the 2001 Census. It compares the African community with the District average. There are two distinctive ways of identifying the African community or communities within the 2001 Census. The first is through Country of Birth and the second is through the Ethnic Group that the Group identifies with. Both these produce very different data on the African Community. Unfortunately currently there are not tables available for all 2001 Census data and what is produced here is restricted to the data that is available through the National Statistics 2001 Census data Supertables.
