Where are the people with a learning disability ?
There are about 1400 people with a learning disability in the Bradford District. In the district they are to be located through day centres, group homes, hospitals, leisure groups, colleges, work places, voluntary organisations and in the educational special needs service. (a list of some helpful organisations is at the end of this section)
Where to get advice and support

Bradford People First An independent self advocacy organisation run by and for people with learning disabilities. They employ workers who help the managers run the organisation and facilitate participation of people with a learning disability.
