The resources on this and
subsequent pages have been developed by Bradford Councils Research and
Consultation Service in partnership with Bradford District Safer Communities
Partnership.
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 required the Council and Police to establish
a Partnership to tackle issues of crime and disorder in the District.
The Partnership is called Safer Communities Bradford District and is made up of members from statutory, voluntary sector and business organisations.
The Partnership has to carry out an audit every three years and develop a crime and disorder reduction strategy to address the issues that the audit has identified.
