The Consultation Unit in Bradford
Councils Research and Consultation service provides practical support
to council departments and agencies in customer research and consultation
activities.
It's Core Business includes:
- Managing the "Speak Out!" panel, implementing surveys using it and carrying out subsequent analysis.
- Consultation Strategy Implementation and training
- Establishing and maintaining an annual Consultation Calendar for monitoring and reporting on consultation activity across the Council
- Carrying out, commissioning and assisting other Departments to carry out, customer and community research and consultation.

Community Engagement Guide
The Consultation unit publishes a Community Engagement Guide which is been produced as an aide to managers and others who are aiming to involve the community.We have converted this document into a web viewable version and it's also available in it's original form as a PDF file.
Consultation Calendar
The Consultation Calendar will allow people to search for upcoming and past consultation activity within their community and/or local area and in most cases allow them to participate in the consultation giving them a direct line to those in charge.The current version of the Consultation calendar is a PDF document.
However currently in development is a much more comprehensive interactive version which will allow a wide range of search options and direct links to many consultations that can be filled in online.
